1993 is the year that POD technology was first introduced – that is when the production of equipment that allowed to directly transfer information from a computer to a printing press began. This technology is also referred to as Direct Imaging (DI). The advantage of these devices is the possibility of uninterrupted production. The main difference between POD and offset printing is that in case of a digital printing house, a product is completed by inserting paper at one end of the device and receiving the finished product at the other.

Printing on Demand is flexible and fast, which means it would be a great addition to our offset printing house. This is why we are planning to widen our range of products by means of POD technology this spring. We will open a new office in Härma Center, closer to our clients in Pärnu.

This also means that in addition to offering a faster service, we can also print smaller quantities of products at affordable prices, as well as Varial Data Printing (VDP)
